Dr. Julie Brush earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She has served in a primary care setting with a focus on mental health for more than 15 years in clinical private practices in Oregon and Hawaii. Most recently, she served as the Medical Director of The Exclusive in Hawaii, a holistic addiction and eating disorder residential treatment center.
Dr. Brush has completed additional training with Dr. Ben Lynch on the subject of MTHFR genetic mutations and impact on health, with Dr. Dan Carter on Bowen therapy, and with Dr. Dick Thom on UNDA drainage. She is an active member of the Oregon and Hawaii Associations of Naturopathic Physicians, and of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association and is certified in IV Therapy.
As a NUNM graduate, Dr. Brush has completed extensive medical training in both primary care and naturopathic medicine. She practices under a new paradigm of health care. In this paradigm, you, the patient, are listened to, you are given the tools to achieve optimum health and you are an active participant in your health care. This is an individualized approach that honors your unique history. The naturopathic approach seeks to identify and treat the cause of disease, and to empower the patient with information and tools to achieve optimal health.
